Blink-182 Introduces Matt Skiba

After Tom DeLonge went postal and left Blink-182, fans and critics alike were left wondering what Mark Hoppus and Travis Barker's (the remaining members of Blink-182) next move would be. Although they couldn't keep the entire band together for the kids, they still came back firing, bringing Matt Skiba aboard for a few shows. It's not set in stone that Skiba is a permanent replacement for DeLonge, but so far, he seems to be a good fit for the band.

Matt Skiba is the founder of Alkaline Trio, and has worked in numerous side projects (Matt Skiba and The Sekrets, for example). He's been involved in music since leaving Columbia College, where he studied design, in 1996.

I look forward to hearing more of the future of Blink-182, and being a longtime fan of the band, I look forward to seeing how Tom DeLonge's career turns out.
